Spelling Bee!

"Pear" was in a spelling Bee! "Pear" was chosen as one of three from his class to participate in the 2nd grade spelling bee! He did a very good job. Although he did not win he is a great speller, he usually always gets 100% on his spelling test! I think my kids are better spellers then I am! :)

Happy Mothers Day 2011!

I love this quote from President Hinckley. I think we need a remind how important a mothers job really is!

I love to have this special day each year to really take the time to remember how much I love being a MOM! I have been so blessed to have 3 beautiful, healthy, sweet, smart, lovable children! Yes, somedays they may drive me nuts or try my patients, but I wouldn't have it any other way! I am so grateful that they choose me to be their MOM!

My "Apple" made me this card at school. LOVE IT!

The kids made these in primary!

On the card with their handprint it says

Children have a certian way

of growing bigger every day,

But these little hands

and this special smile

will stay in our

hearts a long, long while.

And they have a bag of kiss attached to it!

"Plum" made this cute little flower magnet with his picture on it.

(Daddy went into nursery to help him make it)

Thanks to my family for making it a great Mothers Day!

LOVE!

These are my 3 angels! I say angels because it is morning and they have not done anything to drive me crazy yet! (LOL) This was taken a couple weeks ago before church. They really are good kids and I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world, I am so proud of them! Just resently "Apple" recived an award for Princplea Honor roll (basicly meaning she got strait A's on her report card) and "Pear" was chosen to go to Knotts Berry Farm with his teacher this past Monday. He and 2 other kids were chosen out of the whole class. The kids just finished up state testing and his teacher said that who ever did the best on the test would get to go and who ever got the highest grade in the class she would buy them a funnel cake! She bought "Pear" Funnel cake! I have some pretty smart kids if I do say so myself (Moms can brag). Now I just need to make sure they put these smarts to some good use!

Oh I don't want to forget the little one!"Plum has been potty trained for about a month now! Potty training is one thing I dread! But I have to say he picked it up very quickly! The first day we had a few accidents but by the second day he was peeing like a champ, and has done great ever sence! He has had a little fear of pooping, but I think we are over that now.

Please stop getting into everthing!

This child is going to drive us crazy! He is always getting into things! The latest was a box of markers that his brother had on his dresser! While I was at work one day Dad thought "Plum" was playing nicely in his room until he came out with lovely decorated hands. After further inspection he also "decorated" the wall in his bedroom! He loves to draw on walls more then paper! He is so luck he is soooo cute! (Dad was thoughtful enough to take pictures for me to see when I got home(:)

Glasses!

This is my sweet "Plum" who is now wearing glasses! He has a lazy eye (well two lazy eyes, but one is more dominate).
The official name of his eye condition is called starbismus- esotropia. The glasses are suppose to help the "lazy eye" correct itself. He doesn't need the glasses for his vision, but he needs to wear them from dawn to dusk to try and correct his "lazy eye". It took a while to get him to keep them on (he is only 2 1/2.) But he is doing pretty well with it now. We are on our second pair of glasses, because the doctor had prescribed a little bit stronger lens, it's a good thing he did because about a week after he broke the first pair of glasses. So now we have to be extra careful, I don't want to have to get another pair it's only been 5 months since we got the first pair.
He can be quite a ham!
We will be going in a couple of weeks to find out if the glasses are working or if he will need surgery. I believe it will be a very simple procedure, but non the less I do not want him to have to have surgery. We will keep you posted. Please say a little pray for him!

Cub Scouts

Since "Pear" has turned 8 he now is in Cub Scouts! He is really enjoying it.

Crazy boy! He loves to laugh and make you laugh with him!

Double Digits!

Can you believe my baby girl is 10! We are creeping into the teenage years, although some days I think we are already there! "Apple" had a slumber party for her birthday, but being the great Mom that I am I forgot to take pictures. So let's use our imagination and envision 7 little girls running around my tiny house, man do they have a lot of energy. They were all asleep by 2:00am and up by 6:30 am. I was exhausted! (not to mention my little "Plum" had decided to wake up at 3:00am for an hour) Even though she had a wonderful time I think in the future we will stick to parties that only last a couple of hours and the kids go home and sleep in there own beds!
"Apple" on her 10th birthday!
